Base pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday overtime as designated 

Role Description:
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate loading of outbound shipments handling materials efficiently and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Youll play a key part in meeting daily shipping goals by working collaboratively and reliably within our logistics operations.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently ensuring shipments are complete and on time
• Safely lift carry and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly including above shoulder height and below the waist
• Follow daily loading schedules and work orders to meet delivery timelines
• Verify product quantities and conditions against shipping documents
• Operate pallet jacks dollies and other basic material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean safe and organized shipping area
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient loading operations and flow of materials
• Identify and report any shipping discrepancies or damaged goods
• Support inventory counts and documentation as needed
• Assist with general warehouse duties and cross-training opportunities

Qualifications :

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong ability to interpret technical information and perform mathematical operations including fractions and decimals.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead peers manage workflows and maintain a high standard of quality.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced repetitive task environment with attention to detail and safety.

Requirements:

• 18 years old & High School degree or GED strongly preferred. Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills required.

Language Skills:

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to perform general mathematic calculations including but not limited to addition subtraction multiplication fractions percentages and division

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to perform work instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form a addition the ability to solve problems which involve multiple variables in a standard situation is required

Other Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Must have a high degree of concentration
• Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
• Ability to work with a diversified work force
• Ability to read different measuring devices (i.e. tape measure protractor micrometer)

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
• The employee is frequently required to walk
• The employee is frequently required to stand; sit; bend; stoop; use hands and fingers to handle grasp or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; lift; climb and/or balance essential tasks
• Specific vision abilities include close-up and distance vision color vision peripheral vision and depth perception

Work Environment:

• The employee may be required to enter areas that are near moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals and extreme cold or heat
• The noise level in the work environment is considered moderate and may require the use of hearing protection
• The employee will be required to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when accessing certain manufacturing areas: hard hat gloves welding jacket or weld bibs safety glasses welding hood and earplugs

Safety Responsibilities:

•  Before initiating work at Cornerstone Building Brands the employee is required to read and understand the positions Job Safety Analysis
• The employee must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and perform tasks in a manner consistent with Cornerstone Building Brands safety training Cornerstone Building Brands Employee Manual and OSHA regulations

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $19.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour medical dental vision benefits starting day 1 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
