Team Description

Join the Platform Experience team a core group within our GPTO Engineering organization where you will report to theDirectorof Engineering. Our team is on a mission to provide the unshakeable foundation of trust security and scale for the entire Anaplan ecosystem. We empower our internal developers and external partners to build with speed and confidence.

Your Impact

• Contribute significantly to the design and executionof our Platform Experience playing a vital role across Product Security Platform Management and Data Integration initiatives.

• Design build andmaintainthehighly available secure and scalable services that form the backbone of our platform.

• Champion engineering excellencethrough high-quality hands-on coding collaborative design reviews and mentorship of junior engineers on our backend technology stack (Java Kotlin ).

• Activelyparticipateintechnical planning contribute to our teams strategy and engage in critical incident retrospectives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and other engineering groups to deliver robust and reliable platform solutions.

Your Qualifications

• A skilled software engineer with8 years of experiencedeveloping andmaintainingcomplexplatforms infrastructure or data-centric systems.

• Strong hands-onexpertisein designing and developing modern back-end applications (Java/J2EE) and distributed systems using RESTful APIs and event-driven patterns.

• Demonstrated experience with Service Oriented Architecture and a solid understanding of cloud-native principles.

• A proventrack recordof writing clean scalable and well-tested code.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience withprivate andpublic cloud platforms (GCP AWS or Azure).

• Proven ability to influence your teams technical decisions and lead projects to completion.

• A passion for mentoring other engineers and elevating the teams capabilities.

• Experiencewith CI/CD best practicesinfrastructure-as-code tools (like Terraform).
