Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in resolving issues often complex by applying foundational expertise and contributing to sustainable solutions to prevent recurring problems.
  • Support the 1st and 2nd level support teams in addressing escalated support requests.
  • Collaborate with the client to deploy patches on all machines (excluding servers).
  • Assist in validating and implementing updates for business applications on the current master image.
  • Help validate the master on all new machines especially during the acquisition of new models.
  • Provide support and document issues related to iOS (iPhone/iPad).
  • Perform initial diagnosis of network issues qualifying them for escalation to the appropriate support group or network provider.
  • Participate in testing to validate infrastructure changes in collaboration with client providers.
  • Support the 3rd level in system architecture by:
  • Testing and documenting changes according to client instructions/procedures.
  • Assisting in maintaining postmaster scripts (VBS DOS PowerShell) for the installation of new applications and updates.
  • Helping to test and adapt master scripts for installation on new machines.
  • Participate in maintenance operations of computer equipment alongside the support team.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining scripts to automate application installations.

Requirements
  • Familiarity with PowerShell and knowledge of Windows server environments is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office 365 Windows OS DOS and VBS.
  • Basic knowledge of iOS (iPhone and iPad).
  • MS certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Some experience during a transition phase is desirable; ITIL certification is a bonus.
  • Understanding of backup/restore tools is preferred.
  • Introductory knowledge of virtualization networking and telecommunications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory user profiles security groups and permissions for MS Windows is beneficial.
  • Understanding of connectivity technologies (ADSL UMTS ISDN WiFi) is a plus.
  • A keen interest in artificial intelligence and a desire to explore our internal SAI
  • Library tool would be advantageous.
  • Strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think independently and proactively.
  • Willingness to build relationships within the team and across the organization.
  • Personal resilience and the ability to complete tasks within deadlines.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills.
