ThinkTek was formed with the specific purpose of providing its clients a tailored solution around Program & Project Management Strategic Planning and IT Operations.
Position Summary: The Analyst supports workforce planning data analysis and strategic initiatives within the VA Office of Information and Technology (OIT). This role involves collecting analyzing and interpreting data related to current and future workforce capabilities performing gap analyses and supporting the development of workforce optimization solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of workforce supply and demand using internal data and external benchmarks.
- Assist in developing visualizations (e.g. dashboards charts) to communicate workforce trends and capability gaps.
- Prepare briefing materials status reports and executive summaries for leadership.
- Support the identification of skills shortages and future hiring needs.
- Contribute to workforce solution design including training recruitment strategies and organizational alignment.
- Collaborate with HR program managers and IT leadership to collect data and validate findings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Data Science or related field.
- 2 years of experience in workforce analysis HR analytics or program support.
- Proficient in Excel and tools like Power BI Tableau or similar.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting federal agencies especially VA or DoD.
- Familiarity with OPM workforce planning guidance and data sources
