Job Summary
Johnson Controls Inc. seeks Plant Controller at its facility located at 8575 Largo Lakes Blvd Largo FL 33773.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Leverage knowledge of 4th shift ERP and OneStream financial systems. Be involved in the annual budget preparation quarterly forecasts and weekly outlooks for the facility. Work with sales organization on the sales and operations planning to align demand supply and financial targets. Assist in and perform the review and monitor cycle count process. Assist in the preparation/review of financial justifications for plant capital projects. Track capital project spending timing cost impact against project plan forecasts and budget. Perform payroll analysis and labor analysis. Ensure adherence to accounting/internal control procedures SOX compliance and reporting requirements. Perform plant operating costs analysis. Work on the monthly financial results analysis for the full P&L at the plant. Assist in and review key and subjective reserve accounts. Work with plant operation leaders to develop actions to increase profitability and enhance long-term return on investment. Will manage one direct report. No Telecommuting Allowed.
REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting Finance or a related field and three (3) years of experience as an Accountant Financial Analyst or related occupation. Additionally the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) OneStream Software: Utilizing this software to support financial consolidation budgeting forecasting and financial reporting; (2) Fourth Shift ERP or Oracle ERP: Utilizing software to track financial data including accounts payable and accounts receivable; (3) Financial statements analysis; (4) Strategic planning and budgeting; and (5) Cost and control efficiency.
