The Grounds/Utility Crew Member will have primary responsibility for maintaining the grounds of the LCC complex parking lots providing grounds upkeep and snow removal from the adjacent sidewalks and parking lots. Will also assist with general upkeep and maintenance of the building.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$18.00

Central Bank Center is our convention side with over 99k sf of exhibition space 24k sf each of meeting and ballroom space 50k of hospitality space 10k sf of flexible space and over 2500 covered and uncovered parking spaces. Both venues are additionally joined in entertaining this area by the Lexington Opera House showcasing Broadway talent through collaborative bookings of Broadway shows small venue concerts and local arts.

CommonSpirit Health Stage at Gatton Park is a 5000-capacity outdoor venue located in the center of Lexington. From live music and stand-up comedy to unforgettable experiences set against a stunning park backdrop in the center of the city.

Founded in 2021Lexington Sporting Club is an American professional soccer team based in Lexington KY. The soccer complex off Athens-Boonesboro Road near I-75 opened in August 2024 in time for the organizations first USL Super League season.

• Responsible for clearing trash debris and emptying trash receptacles located outside of the buildings.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs of lawn care and snow removal equipment.
• Responsible for snow removal from LCC complex sidewalks and parking lots.
• Maintain required keys and utility vehicles.
• Signs keys and vehicles in and out on the correct forms.
• Will provide physical and labor assistance to the HVAC and Maintenance department staff as needed.
• Will assist with daily cleaning and maintaining the shop area.
• Maintain other areas of the complex as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned. May work with other departments when needed.

• One or more years of experience in landscape/grounds maintenance preferred.
• Valid drivers license required.

Physical Requirements

• Requires a full range of body motions including seeing and hearing to normal range.
• Job requires routine standing walking stooping bending lifting carrying pushing pulling reaching handling speaking hearing and visually checking work assignments in progress and those that have been completed.
• Occasionally must lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently works irregular hours and under tight deadlines.

Working Conditions

• Work is mainly performed outside and can be in extreme elements (High/Low temperatures rain snow etc.) and occasionally indoors as needed.
