This is a fantastic role for an experienced Optometrist looking to develop or build on their leadership and management experience within a large well-established practice.
Key details:
Full-time (37.5 hours)
Temporary secondment
Weekend working required (Saturday weekly or alternate Saturday & Sunday)
Busy flagship-size store with 4 testing rooms
Recently refitted (September 2025)
25-minute testing times
Large experienced team of 25 colleagues
4 phoropters plus OCT Optomap retinal imaging & visual fields
The practice:
Freestanding store (no Hearing Care)
Offers MECS cataract services childrens screening & enhanced services
High ASOV with a very mixed patient demographic
Great opportunity to gain experience managing a large high-footfall store
About the area:
Located in Warrington town centre Golden Square offers excellent transport links and a busy retail environment. Discounted staff parking is available making it a convenient and accessible location to work.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Optometrist. Newly qualified Optometrists may be considered if they have relevant management experience.
