Join our dedicated team at Unity Lab Services as a Lab Support Specialist where we provide seamless support tailored to our customers unique needs. Are you an organized individual with a passion for ensuring smooth lab operations

In this role we handle crucial lab support activities includingglasswash garment management and gas/dry ice management. We ensure compliance and efficiency in all support activities acting as the primary point of contact for lab personnel.

A day in the Life:

• Perform labware operations including precision cleaning inventory management quality control and autoclave sterilization.

• Handle gas cylinder orders manage gas meters and safely handle HAZMAT materials.

• Collect and restock labware/materials ensuring consistent supply and safe storage of dry ice garments and gas.

• Partner with clients to understand and meet their labware and material needs.

• Follow procedures outlined by Best Practices SOPs and Work Instructions.

• Maintainaccurateinventory records fulfill contractual obligations andassistin supervising business metrics.

• Perform otherduties asassigned by management.

Keys to Success:

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

3years experiencewith material handling.

Good x Practice (GxP) environment or laboratory setting experience

Proven record of leading and mentoring teams formally or informally

Knowledge Skills Abilities

• Proficiencywith Microsoft 365 applications (Excel Outlook Teams).

• Strong attention to detail organizational skills and a safety-first approach.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently and delegate tasks to others.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

The role primarily involves working independently at customer sites which may include areas with chemical-based allergens like penicillin and tetracycline. Personal protective equipment such as lab coats coveralls facemasks and steel-toe shoes is often. The position requires regular lifting of 30-40lbs(up to 50lbsoccasionally) and using equipment like pushcarts and forklifts to move up to 100 lbs. Standing walking reaching and bending are frequent activities sometimes in varied temperature environments. Overtime work may also be necessary.
