CSA - School Security
Purpose of Role
The School Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students staff visitors and school property. The role involves patrolling the school campus monitoring security systems managing visitor access and responding to emergencies or incidents.

CSA School Security - Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the school premises during school hours and after-hours activities.
- Patrol buildings and grounds regularly to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Ensure that all doors windows and gates are properly locked or secured as needed.
- Greet and screen all visitors verify identification and issue visitor passes.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
- Respond promptly to emergencies alarms and suspicious activities.
- Assist in fire drills evacuation procedures and lockdown drills.
- Report any safety hazards maintenance issues or incidents to school authorities.
- Prevent and address conflicts or disturbances within the school premises.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and safety regulations.
- Escort students or staff when necessary (e.g. to the parking lot between buildings etc.).
- Maintain clear and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
