Job Summary
Principal Accountabilities:
Business monitoring
o Prepare month-end Gross Margin above financial closing on time
o Understand gap vs budget/forecast/prior year
o Understand movements in P&L lines and present commercial insights
o Prepare management reports including channel performance and trade inventory
Business analysis & planning
o Work closely with internal teams to support Finance/Business planning cycles starting from demand review to financial forecast
o Prepare monthly rolling forecast and understand performance by brand by channel
o Assist in landing preparation and monitor variations from forecast
o Support pricing analysis on both new product and existing product
o Support Cash flow reporting and planning per Group requirements
Finance transformation and process review
o Participate and support in finance transformation projects (e.g. Volume-to-Value forecast enhancement Master data project Beyond Budget) to support company-wide finance transformation roadmap
o On-going review internal processes and identify initiatives to improve efficiencies
Support in any kind of any ad hoc analysis presentations and projects as required.
Qualifications and Key Skills Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics Business Administration or related discipline
At least 3-4 years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience preferably in FMCG
CPA ACCA or CIMA qualification is a plus
Detail-minded well-organized with high accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drill into the root causes
Proactive and motivated can-do attitude
Ability to work independently strong result-orientated and eager to learn
Ability to manage multi tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Advanced skills in Excel to build maintain and optimize reports
Experienced in Power BI and reporting/visualization tools is a plus
Experienced in using accounting software (JDE and/or Hyperion Planning) would be advantageous
High proficiency in both spoken and written English
