The Role

The Director Owner Investment Programmes will play a key role in advancing IFMs Owner Strategy which seeks to encourage active ownership and build greater mutual strategic support among IFM andthe16 profit-to-member superannuation and pension funds who own IFMand are the custodians of the retirement savings of over 25 million people.

This role will orchestrate collective investment programmes involving the industry superannuation funds who are IFMs owners integrating thematic opportunities and public sector priorities and develop frameworks that connect owner objectives to IFMs product development client solutions deal origination asset management and policy advocacy capabilities.

The position requires innovation thought leadership and strong stakeholder engagement to co-create investment strategies with owners.

Your Background and Experience

• 10 years of experience in institutional investment (superannuation or pension funds sovereign wealth funds endowments public finance institutions or similar long-term diversified and purposeful fiduciary investors) emphasising portfolio construction investment governance programmatic investment or consortium building.
• Degree in a relevant field such as finance mathematics actuarial studies or law; graduate degree desirable CFA desirable.
• Proven ability in investment stakeholder engagement and synthesis of complex perspectives.
• Demonstrated experience in developing investment strategies and constructing portfolios or initiatives aligned to organisational objectives investment opportunities and shared priorities.
• Proven capability in developing and maintaining programmatic investment models.
• Experience designing implementing or managing monitoring and reporting frameworks for investment programs.
• Ability to incorporate public policy developments and stakeholder preferences into investment strategies.
• Strong capacity for innovation including developing new frameworks that support investment decisionmaking and policy alignment.
