RESPONSIBILITIES:

Innovate:Be a key player in the sourcing function within the Procurement COE driving complex market exercises and strategic category initiatives.
Innovate Strategic Sourcing:Partner with the sourcing function within the Procurement COE driving complex market exercises and strategic category initiatives.
Sourcing Expert:Own a specific category to drive results.
Be a Digital Champion:Own and define the digital strategy including Coupa CSO e-Sourcing Platform AI and data analytics. Provide technical expertise to the One Procurement team.
Unlock Value Through Data:Use analytics and KPIs to identify opportunities risks optimize procurement performance and uncover savings critical to the business.
Collaborate & Influence:Partner with Category Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure flawless execution and adoption of e-Sourcing best practices.
Drive Process Excellence:Continuously improve procurement processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Educate & Empower:Deliver strategic training on eAuction theory and go-to-market best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:Bachelors degree in business supply chain or related field (Masters or certifications like CSCP/CPSM preferred).
Experience:24 years in procurement ideally within Food & Beverage CPG or Manufacturing.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Coupa or similar RFx sourcing software (Oracle a plus)
Mindset:Adaptable curious and ready to challenge the status quo.
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States a lawful permanent resident or have authorization to work in the United States.

Pay Range & Benefits:

At Hormel Foods base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $78000 - $109300 per year and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge skill set level of experience and geographic market location.
