Your role as a Facilities Painter
As a Painter at The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler your primary responsibility will be preparing painting and finishing both interior and exterior surfaces across our agency-owned or leased facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean safe and professional environment that aligns with our mission to support individuals with developmental disabilities. You will ensure that buildings are not only visually appealing but also compliant with safety and regulatory standards.

What you need to be successful
To excel as a Painter at The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED with experience in trades preferred. A valid drivers license and reliable transportation are essential for this onsite role. Ideal applicants will have familiarity with tools and techniques of painting and drywall ensuring that surfaces are properly prepared and finished. Experience in home or commercial maintenance will place you at the top of the pack!
Successful candidates will also need to demonstrate flexibility by being available for limited evening and weekend assignments.
