The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting both the HR operational needs and the immigration/mobility requirements of the Irish business. This position will act as a central point of contact for internal mobility requests and external candidate immigration support ensuring a smooth and compliant process for all stakeholders. The role also encompasses a broad range of HR administrative responsibilities contributing to an efficient and employee-focused HR service.
Key responsibilities
HR Operations
- Prepare and issue employment contracts in coordination with the recruitment team.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate new hire inductions and support a smooth onboarding experience.
- Respond to day to day questions from employees and managers providing helpful guidance.
- Manage contractor agreements maintain contractor records and support compliance processes.
- Generate HRIS reports and data metrics to support business insights and compliance.
- Manage offboarding processes for leavers including exit documentation and system updates.
- Process employee leave of absence requests and employment verification letters.
- Support the rollout of local HR policies and learning & development activities.
- Ensure GDPR and internal data handling standards are consistently followed.

Immigration Support
- Act as the main point of contact for mobility and immigration queries including permits and visas.
- Provide guidance on Irish immigration requirements and support employees relocating to Ireland.
- Coordinate with recruitment hiring managers and global mobility to onboard international hires.
- Liaise with external immigration providers to manage permit and visa processes.
- Maintain accurate mobility records ensure compliance with immigration regulations and update HR systems.
- Monitor policy changes and suggest process improvements to enhance mobility workflows.
Key Relationships:
- Internal: Recruitment Team Hiring Managers HR Business Partners Global Mobility Team Finance Team Facilities Team
- External: Immigration advisors relocation providers.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR operations within a fast paced environment
- Solid understanding of Irish visa processes particularly Critical Skills Employment Permits (CSEP) and related immigration categories.
- Exposure to immigration or global mobility highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Irish employment law and immigration processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Desirable Skills
- Experience using HRIS systems including Workday with exposure to HRIS testing and system implementation activities.
- Exposure to internal mobility processes including immigration steps in a global or multinational setting
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively in a diverse global environment.
