Aquatic Operations Team Leader Safety & Compliance Are you technically minded with a passion for safe compliant and high performing aquatic facilities If you excel in applying standards navigating GSPO requirements and improving operational systems this role places you at the centre of safety and compliance across one of the countrys most complex aquatic environments. You will support high level operational delivery while ensuring the facility meets the expectations of both community users and elite sporting the role:This is your opportunity to combine leadership collaboration and compliance expertise in a role that makes a real impact. As one of two Team Leaders at the heart of MSACs operations youll champion safety standards support events and programs and empower your team to deliver excellence every lead a dedicated group of lifeguards and supervisors focusing on risk management compliance and fostering a culture of accountability and care. From coaching and mentoring to ensuring operational readiness this role is all about people performance and keeping every experience safe and primary responsibilities will include:Leading development and review of aquatic safety compliance and operational procedures for the Aquatic Operations team including lifeguards supervisors and wider State Sports Centres day to day compliance monitoring auditing and reporting in line with State Sports Centres GSPO and regulatory aquatic asset requirements preventative maintenance and technical incident review investigation documentation and facilitating continuous improvement staff capability in safety and procedural compliance expertise to projects operational and event planning and improvements within the aquatic You Bring to the Pool Deck:Strong technical understanding of aquatic compliance GSPO safety frameworks and risk with audits incident management and regulatory of aquatic operations asset management and maintenance to interpret and apply regulatory and organisational communication skills with staff contractors and regulatory Pool Lifeguard qualification First Aid WWCC and Aquatic Technical Operator Youll Love It:You will play a critical role in maintaining a safe compliant and industry leading aquatic environment at one of the most dynamic facilities in Australia.
