Arηs Group Part of Accenture is looking for a Service Delivery Manager for one of its clients in Brussels a key player in the Belgian Health Insurance domain.
Context
In your position as a Service Delivery Manager you split your responsibilities equally between managing people and overseeing service delivery. When acting as a Service Delivery Manager you oversee Agile teams and provide reports directly to the director of your department.
The Replacement Income domain is a vital part of health insurance responsible for accurately calculating and distributing members replacement income. This is achieved using specialized software that processes complex regulations with semi-automated data reading. The domain operates through eight Agile teams consisting of around 40 ICT professionals and collaborates closely with business colleagues embedded in the teams to enhance Scrum practices. Support is provided by the Architecture and infrastructure teams who help shape the vision for test automation and advance testing tools and platforms.
Role & responsibilities
- Leading Agile & self-organizing teams to ensure the follow-up of various projects according to the agreements made.
- Leading coaching and motivating your team to ensure that the set goals are met.
- Contributing to the general policy of the ICT department and contributing to determining common ICT priorities.
- Working on the continuous improvement of the service to your customers.
- Guaranteeing an accessible and customer-oriented service based on clear agreements about the services to be provided their Service Levels and the costs they entail.
- Motivating your employees dividing the responsibilities in consultation with and according to the competencies of your team members and evaluating them.
- Determining which resources are needed to bring the projects to a successful conclusion.
- Coordinating the activities related to the strategic roadmap of the domain.

Technical skills
- At least 5 years of experience in a people management position in a large organization or company.
- Experience with Agile delivery of strategic and critical projects
- Able to coach on the job and also remotely
- Experience with agile working is a must.
