We are seeking a Sales Engineer with deep expertise in the financial ecosystem and a strong background in card processing core banking and modern cloudnative architectures. This role plays a critical part in driving Pismos growth by shaping highimpact technical solutions influencing product strategy through client engagement and ensuring our offerings deliver exceptional value to banks and fintechs in the region.
What youll do:
- Define and lead functional and technical solutioning for large complex opportunities in Cards and Core Banking.
- Develop highquality solution architectures flow diagrams and documentation aligned with client needs.
- Craft persuasive technically accurate RFP responses and solution proposals for banks and fintechs.
- Participate in customer discovery shaping solution positioning in collaboration with Sales and Product teams.
- Deliver engaging demos simplifying complex concepts to diverse audiences including executives.
- Support strategic conversations that elevate Pismos value proposition and influence buying decisions.
- Work closely with Product SRE Engineering and Solution Architecture teams to validate feasibility and ensure seamless handover.
- Translate client requirements into clear implementation deliverables ensuring readiness before project kickoff.
- Own the transition of requirements to implementation teams fostering a more efficient project.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 years in Pre Sales Sales Engineering or Solution Architecture including 5 years with card issuing processing or core banking platforms.
- Strong understanding of modern cloud native architectures (microservices APIs distributed systems).
- Proven ability to design enterprise-grade solutions for financial institutions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skillsable to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong problem solving mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and challenging conversations.
- Ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment with a proactive can do attitude.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Advanced English is required
