About the Department
The Maintenance Department at Lakewood Health System is responsible for ensuring all facility systems operate safely efficiently and in compliance with regulatory standards. The department supports patient care and staff operations by maintaining building infrastructure utilities and essential equipment. It focuses on preventive maintenance timely repairs and risk reduction to minimize service disruptions. Maintenance staff work collaboratively with hospital departments and external contractors to address facility needs. Through ongoing monitoring and documentation the department helps provide a safe and functional healthcare environment.
Mission for Position
The Electrician ensures the safe reliable and code-compliant operation of Lakewood Health Systems electrical systems to support uninterrupted patient care and facility operations.
Position Summary
The Electrician supports the safe and efficient operation of Lakewood Health System facilities by installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems equipment and related electronic controls. This role ensures electrical infrastructure functions reliably to minimize downtime maintain regulatory compliance and support patient care and staff operations. The Electrician works collaboratively with other departments contractors and supervisors while maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards.
Position Type
This is a full-time 80 hour per pay period position (1.0FTE). Typical work hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday. 7th weekend on-call rotation and holiday coverage is required.
