Job Summary
Oversees manufacturing process based on specific technologies (Balancing Assembly Machining Welding) by developing and executing continuous improvement strategies based on AOP and growth projections for the site. Responsible for Overall Efficiency Equipment and Rolled Throughput Yield improvement thru planning and execution of improvement strategies and execution
Supervision of Manufacturing Engineers Manufacturing technician and interns in related areas.
Responsible of quick kaizen Kaizen events & knowledge sharing to ensure Continuous Improvement throughout the process.
Responsible to assure the correct layout design and material flow for one or several production cells.
Responsible to assure implementation the lean principles and use Six Sigma tools in the cells such like: one-piece flow takt time line balancing standard work etc. on a team approach with the general supervisor.
Responsible to follow up CAPEX and OPEX plant and global projects.
Responsible to receive hand over phase from NPI.
Responsible for the internal capacity follow up.
Adherence on HSE Procedures and support initiatives.
Responsible to follow up with Global team the KPIs and improvement projects and manufacturing strategy.
Responsible of external equipment validation (traveling to the supplier facility).
Requirements:
Bachelor degree on Mechanical Electronic Mechatronic Industrial Engineering
Equivalent experience at specific manufacturing process lean principles pneumatic mechanical and electrical principles.
5 year minimum experience in Manufacturing Engineering / management position
Experience with Kaizen process for a specific line demonstrate significant improvement on key indicators
Experience with Plant wide project example: Layout change new machinery new line upgrade line
