The Mental Health Department at the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women is seeking a highly organized dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator 4 to support clinical and operational functions within a correctional mental health environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured setting communicates effectively and can manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Provide advanced administrative support to mental health leadership clinicians and program staff.
  • Coordinate scheduling for mental health appointments assessments and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Prepare review and maintain confidential records reports and documentation in compliance with departmental facility and state regulations.
  • Assist with data entry tracking and reporting related to mental health services and program outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Mental Health Department and other institutional units to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
  • Manage correspondence forms and internal requests with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support onboarding and training logistics for new mental health staff.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

  • This position is a when actually employed (WAE) position without benefits.
