Overview

Responsibilities
Perform engineering duties including planning designing and construction supervision of buildings and water/sewage systems.
Duties may include:
- Assist in developing civil engineering plans including site layout yard piping paving grading and storm water management.
- Complete data entry and analysis using Excel and ArcGIS.
- Assist in utilities project permitting process including coordination with various government agencies.
- Assist in utilities project permitting process including coordination with various government agencies.
- Prepare civil engineering technical memorandums and reports.
- Use geospatial and hydraulic software including ArcGIS ICPR WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS to perform engineering assignments.
- Complete hydraulic calculations for pipelines water pump stations wastewater lift stations and other water infrastructure.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and schedules for various water and wastewater master planning projects.
- Travel required approximately 3-5 days a week to domestic construction sites within the state for inspections.
Qualifications
Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Plus two years of work experience as a Civil Engineer Assistant Project Engineer Staff Engineer or a related occupation.
