Contract Safety Officer Power Station Overhaul Clare

Contract Rate: Up to 50 per hour (DOE)
Initial Contract: Minimum 2 months (with potential to extend)

A leading engineering consultancy working within the Irish power industry is currently recruiting a Contract Safety Officer for a major power station overhaul project in Clare.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Safety professional to join a highly skilled team on a technically challenging project where safety standards and best practice are central to delivery.

The Role:

As a Safety Officer you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment across site operations. Youll work closely with site management contractors and project stakeholders to ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety standards.

Key Requirements:

A Diploma in Health & Safety (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a power station electrical industrial or construction environment
Strong knowledge of site safety systems compliance and safe work practices
The confidence to engage with teams on site and enforce safety standards when required
