Job Summary

Our BC Operations team is looking for a Student Project Engineer to join their team for the upcoming summer term. This position is located on-site at our office in Powell River BC. The student will be introduced to areas of engineering (Civil Electrical & Mechanical) Compliance Dam Safety and Operations of hydro power generating facilities through various assignments. This position is expected to commence on or around May 4 2026 for a period of approximately four months.

Student hourly rate: $23-27/hr based on level of experience.

What youll be doing:

Reviewing engineering and inspection reports and define scope of work for recommendations
Assist in building a project management process and documentation
Provide support on filing technical documentation
Assist in implementing new technology tools
Assist in project planning and execution
Complete weekly tasks and job meetings during capital and major maintenance projects;

What you must have:

Working towards a degree in electrical civil or mechanical engineering
