Responsibilities
The RN Risk Management Coordinator provides clinical expertise and is responsible for identifying analyzing and mitigating clinical operational and regulatory risks across post-acute services lines including Home Health Behavioral Health and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). This role partners closely with clinical leadership quality compliance and operations to promote patient safety reduce adverse events ensure regulatory compliance and support a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the continuum of care.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or relevant field
Experience
2 years of experience in Risk Management Quality Assurance Case Management Discharge Planning Utilization Review Infection Control or nursing project development/education
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
One of the following is preferred:
CPHQ - Certified Professional Healthcare Quality
CPHRM - Certified Healthcare Risk Management
NATIONAL - National Certification related to specialty and applicable to role
