Our Kaikōkiri - Iwi Health Promoteris a pivotal kaupapa Māori role committed to strengthening the hauora of rangatahi whānau and hapori through holistic Kaupapa Māoriled health promotion. Grounded in Te Whare Tapa Whā this role supports wellbeing across taha tinana taha hinengaro taha wairuaand taha whānau recognising the interconnection of people whenua and community.
Guided by our Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki values of whanaungatanga manaakitanga and kotahitanga our Kaikōkiri leads the development and implementation of our Ngā Wai Tāpara a Rangatahi iwi health promotion plan.
This mahi centres rangatahi voices builds collective capability and strengthens community connections working alongside iwi hapū marae and community partners to uplift mana and support sustainable wellbeing outcomes.
The role also upholds strong kaupapa Māori accountability ensuring timely accurate and meaningful reporting to funders that reflects whānau and community impact while contributing to the collective aspirations and oranga of Pare Hauraki.
To succeed in this appointment you must have a commitment to improving the accessibility of service provision to Hauraki whānau and a clear understanding of Te Taha Māori.
