SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Revenue Facilities Manager
Supervises: Concession Attendants and Batting Cage Attendants
BASIC FUNCTION
AssociateoperatesasMountain View AdventureCenterfrontline staffincluding cash control admitting customers into themini golf and batting cagefacilities and customer and part-time employee beat least18 years of age.This is a seasonal positionbeginning the last week of March andending October 30th
Shifts: Shifts vary Monday-Sunday between 8:30am-11:30pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Implement measures thatensurethe smoothday-to-dayCashConcessionand batting cage operations.
- Supervise concession andbattingcage attendants to ensure duties are performed in an outstandingmanneras required by their job descriptions.
- Enforce all facility rules and District policies and procedures.
- Ensures cash control policies and procedures are followed.
- Balance cash drawer at end of each shift complete all required paperwork and prepare the deposit
- Prepare concession foodmaintaininghigh standardsof cleanliness and safety.
- Responsible foroperatingand cleaning food preparation equipment.
- Answer phone calls and provideaccurateinformation.
- Ensure the overall cleanliness of the food preparation and concession area.
- Control inventory of fooddrinkand other supplies.
- Take control of and act decisively in emergency situations responding calmly and quickly under first aid when needed. Complete necessary reports.
- Demonstrate and promote positive guest relations and exceptional customer service.
- Promotepositiveteamwork environment for all staff.
- Communicatestaff and facility issuesin a timely manner.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evening and weekend hours.
OTHER DUTIES
- Attend all pre-season training.
- Inform all staff of any changes in policy procedure or rules as handed down by theRevenue Facilities Manager
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual and Crisis Manual.
- Assistwithspecial eventsas necessary
- Direct patronsin the event ofan emergency such as fire severe weather
- Additionalduties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Classwork
Experience: Must be 18 years of age or
knowledge of Point of Sales systems.
Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certification classes available through Park District upon hire
Food Handler Training Certificate required following employment.
