Whats the role

As a Senior Credit Analyst in our Specialised Business Services team youll play a key role in supporting customers who are experiencing financial difficulty. Youll work closely with Account Managers to manage a complex portfolio of substandard and impaired Institutional Banking customers helping them navigate challenging situations while supporting strong outcomes for both the customer and Westpac.

Youll be handson with financial analysis credit paper preparation and customer discussions becoming a trusted advisor in moments that this Sydney based role youll collaborate with internal teams external advisers and frontline partners to ensure decisions are informed fair and based on highquality insights. This is a role where your attention to detail curiosity and ability to build strong relationships will help shape better outcomes every day.

What do I need

Youll bring strong analytical skills a thoughtful approach to risk and the confidence to work directly with customers and internal stakeholders.

Youll have:

  • Experience preparing or supporting financial or credit analysis from a financial institution insolvency firm or professional services background.
  • Ability to interpret financial information and identify risks trends and insights.
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Confidence building relationships with customers internal teams and external advisers.
  • High attention to detail organisation and diligence in managing information and systems.
