We are looking for aLead/Principal Transport Planner (Strategic Modelling)to join our team. This role will be based at our AtkinsRéalis

Your role

• Highly self-motivated and ambitious.

• Familiarity withUK/ME regional modelling guidance and approaches.
• Experience withGIS databases and analytical/research tools.
• Understanding of the transport industry and policy context.
• Professional membership in a relevant institution.
• Experience in leading small teams and managing project delivery.
• Proven task management capabilities.

About you

• Bachelors Degree with Masters in Transport Planning/Transportation Engineering.
• 815 years of experience in transport planning software:VISUM CUBE EMME SATURN DIADEM.
• Strong knowledge ofStrategic Modelling techniques and guidance.
• Understanding of the technical transport planning environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills especially inMS Excel.
• Programming experience inPython Power BI Excel-VBA R.
• Ability to write high-quality technical reports.
• Capable of working both independently and within a team.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively.
