What You Will Be Doing

Handling unlawful detainer matters for both residential and commercial properties
Advising clients on rent control affordable housing and fair housing issues
Supporting real estate transactional matters tied to property management and ownership
Representing clients in court and during administrative proceedings
Guiding clients step by step through the eviction process
Providing legal advice through phone and email consultations
Drafting and reviewing pleadings notices correspondence and settlement documents
Conducting legal research and case analysis
Defending and counseling clients on fair housing claims
Participating in occasional court appearances and client presentations
Engaging with industry organizations to strengthen professional relationships
The bulk of the practice involves unlawful detainer matters billed at a flat rate so there are no billable hour requirements.

Compensation

Base salary range of $95000 to $120000 depending on background
Bonus opportunities available

Active membership in the California Bar
