What You Will Be Doing
- Handling unlawful detainer matters for both residential and commercial properties
- Advising clients on rent control affordable housing and fair housing issues
- Supporting real estate transactional matters tied to property management and ownership
- Representing clients in court and during administrative proceedings
- Guiding clients step by step through the eviction process
- Providing legal advice through phone and email consultations
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings notices correspondence and settlement documents
- Conducting legal research and case analysis
- Defending and counseling clients on fair housing claims
- Participating in occasional court appearances and client presentations
- Engaging with industry organizations to strengthen professional relationships
- The bulk of the practice involves unlawful detainer matters billed at a flat rate so there are no billable hour requirements.
