We are seeking a Dietitian who is passionate about improving the health and quality of life for older adults. If youre looking for flexible part-time hours a supportive environment and an opportunity to make a lasting impact this is your role.
What youll do:
As a Dietitian you will be responsible for managing the nutritional care and dietary planning for residents in compliance with federal state and local regulations.
conducting resident interviews and nutritional assessments
completing mds section k and related documentation
developing and updating nutrition care plans
collaborating with healthcare teams and participating in care conferences
advising food service staff on dietary protocols and patient needs
ensuring compliance with hipaa and regulatory standards
participating in ongoing performance improvement initiatives
reviewing and applying current clinical nutrition research
orienting and mentoring interns or new staff when applicable
maintaining thorough and accurate clinical documentation
What youll bring:
Experience and credentials
registered dietitian (RD) credential or eligibility to obtain the following within six months
licensed or license-eligible in the state of kentucky
bachelors degree in nutrition dietetics or related field
completion of 900 supervised practice hours under a registered dietitian
Technical and physical requirements
ability to use ms office (word excel powerpoint) and emr systems
ability to analyze lab values and make clinical recommendations
able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform occasional bending reaching or kneeling
comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods
