Marathon Petroleum is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our workforces health and safety at our Robinson Refinery Clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the first point of care for employees and contractorsproviding onsite evaluation of illnesses and injuries and coordinating follow-up care.
Build trust and strong relationships across the workforce to encourage early reporting and proactive health management.
Support our Drug & Alcohol Testing Program including record maintenance and collaboration with Medical Review Officers and third-party clinics.
Assist in all aspects of patient care; from OSHA-mandated medical surveillance exams to specimen collections (drug alcohol and blood).
Provide administrative support to keep our onsite clinic running smoothly by answering phones managing schedules ordering supplies and maintaining inventories.
Respond to routine and emergency medical incidents including after-hours coverage for projects and outages.
Champion wellness initiatives by organizing onsite events and engaging with our wellness network.
Ensure HIPAA compliance while fostering a professional customer-focused and collaborative environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Travel expected up to 5%
