We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our dynamic this role you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services throughout our organization. As a Logistics Assistant you will support the logistics and supply chain operations by coordinating shipments managing inventory and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock levels.
- Assist in preparing shipping documentation and labels.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding delivery schedules.
- Monitor transportation costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience in logistics shipping or supply chain operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
