Eng Tech II

Engineering Technician II role is responsible for execution on simple and low to medium complexity projects/tasks ensuring is executed within budgeted hours and completed on time meeting or exceeding quality according to customer requirements and IPC 620 & 610 standards and participate on improvement activities and HOS execution.

• Execution/Fabrication of simple and low to medium complexity of assemblies such as cables harnesses test boxes etc.
• Wiring list & electrical drawing interpretation required to execute projects.
• Electrical testing on fabricated components
• Ensure projects are executed within budget hours and completed before desired completion date.
• Establish direct communication with local engineering support to have better understanding of drawing and technical issues.
• Correct execution of redmarks on drawings and build deviations.
• Accurately report project progress to internal project administrator.
• Apply applicable Honeywell QA procedures / methods.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have Technician diploma in Electronics or equivalent or 2-3 years of experience in electronic product fabrication (e.g. Cables harnesses control / test boxes aerospace industry desirable).
Industry environment knowledge.
Basic technical English focus on electronics terminology (reading & writing)
Ability to read fabrication drawings.

Desired:

• Proven electronic fabrication skills as cables harnesses test boxes etc
• Skilled in use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel Outlook) & internet for technical information & data sheet search. Internal time keeping system Tooling crib & BOM databases Drawings control systems.
