Job Summary
Our client is recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a busy secondary school in Staffordshire. This is a full-time permanent position starting in April 2026 overseeing all aspects of site and facilities management.
Site Manager required on a full-time basis
Large secondary school with extensive facilities
Leadership role within the premises team
Strong support from senior leadership
The successful Site Manager will lead on health and safety compliance and maintenance managing caretaking and cleaning staff and coordinating contractors to ensure the site operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the school site and buildings
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
Line-managing premises and cleaning staff
Planning and monitoring maintenance schedules
Managing contractors and service providers
Supporting lettings exams and school events
Acting as key holder and emergency contact
Experience and Qualifications
Proven experience in a site or facilities management role
Strong health and safety knowledge
Leadership and organisational skills
Proactive solution-focused approach
Legal right to work in the UK
