Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and committed Science Teacher to join a prestigious high-achieving independent school in Ashford. This is a full-time permanent position commencing in February 2026 ideal for a teacher who is passionate about Science and dedicated to inspiring young people to excel.
The Role
As a Science Teacher you will:
Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across KS3KS5 supporting students to reach their full potential.
Contribute to the continued success of a well-resourced and high-performing Science department.
Foster a genuine enthusiasm for Science including involvement in extracurricular programmes and fixtures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the schools high standards in teaching learning and behaviour.

Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will be:
A qualified Science teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
A confident practitioner with strong subject knowledge
Skilled at motivating and inspiring students of all abilities
Willing to contribute to the wider life of the school including clubs and enrichment
Eligible to work in the UK
Salary
Salary will be paid in line with the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) depending on experience.
