Job Summary
We are working with a prestigious 318 independent through-school in Haringey recruiting for a scholarly and engaging Teacher of History. This role is perfect for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about historical inquiry and looking for a pathway into middle leadership.
About the Role This is a permanent full-time position teaching History from KS3 through to A-Level. The department is known for its academic rigor and its success in preparing students for Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. For a candidate with the right experience there is a TLR opportunity available to lead on Key Stage 3 curriculum development or coordinate the schools Historical Society.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality History lessons that foster critical thinking and source analysis.
Mentor students on independent research projects and university entrance exams.
(With TLR): Lead the review and diversification of the KS3 History curriculum.
Contribute to the schools vibrant co-curricular program and academic seminars.
Requirements
Proven experience teaching History to A-Level in a high-attaining setting.
Right to work in the UK and a valid enhanced DBS.
The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship.
Salary M1 UPS3 () potential TLR.
