Attendance Team:
The attendance team plays a central role in the schools pastoral structure and is highly valued by senior leadership. The school has a strong culture of high expectations for punctuality attendance and engagement supported by robust systems and a proactive approach to early intervention. The team works closely with Heads of Year safeguarding staff the SEN department and external agencies to support students and families.
Requirements
Experience in an attendance pastoral or administrative role (school-based desirable)
Strong understanding of attendance processes and safeguarding responsibilities
Confidence making calls home and communicating professionally with parents/carers
Excellent organisation and attention to detail including accurate record keeping
Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage sensitive conversations
Strong IT skills and confidence using school MIS systems
