Job Summary
Electrical Apprentice
Detroit
Continuum Services is seeking anapprentice with 1-3 years experience. .As an electrician apprentice at Allied youll work as part of a dedicated team upgrading a wide variety of commercial and industrial properties. Our electricians complete various tasks related to upgrading commercial buildings as part of their day-to-day job duties.
Duties and Responsibiliies:
- New commercial installations
- Read/interpret plans prints and specifications
- Maintain a clean job site
- Communicate with customers
- Other various electrical tasks related to upgrading commercial buildings
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years experience
Optional Qualifications:
- OSHA 10 is a plus but is not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand walk bend kneel crouch and climb for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to climb and work from ladders scaffolding lifts and elevated platforms
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces such as ceilings mechanical rooms and utility shafts
- Ability to lift carry push and pull up to 50 lbs of tools materials and equipment
- Ability to perform overhead work and maintain awkward or static positions for extended periods
- Ability to use hand and power tools requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity
- Ability to read blueprints schematics and small print labels
