Position Title: Inpatient Child/Adolescent

Location: Fort Lauderdale FL
Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is a behavioral healthcarefacility in South Florida that provides comprehensiveinpatientand outpatient treatmentto children adolescents adults and older adults suffering from drug addiction mental health issues and co-occurring disorders. Our fully licensed and accredited private hospital has been providing world-class treatment in a secure and comfortable setting for over 30 years.
Position Overview:

Role: Child/Adolescent Inpatient
Patient Population: Child/Adolescent
Schedule:5 days a week daytime hours.
Weekend Coverage:1:6 Saturday/Sunday in-person rounding.
Weekday Call:One evening call shift per week by phone only.
Employment Type:Full-time employed position.
Additional earnings potential: Extra call options and Productivity Bonus Plan.
EMR: Cerner

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct admission evaluations develop treatment plans and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive base salary with Productivity Bonus potential.

Qualifications:

Education: M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
Training:Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and Child/Adolescent fellowship program.
Licensure: Florida medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
