Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Intern (Accounts Payable) to join our finance team on a civil contract for 1 year 32h weekly. The successful candidate will support daily accounts payable operations ensuring accurate invoice processing timely vendor payments and compliance with internal accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and record vendor invoices accurately and on time
- Match invoices with purchase orders
- Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with payment terms
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and well-organized accounts payable records
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Accounting Finance or a related field
- 02 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar junior accounting role
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
