Description of Work
Position is assigned to the Signing and Delineation Unit Eastern Region. This position will prepare signing and pavement marking PS&E packages and purchase order contracts projects. Inclusive with this responsibility is the development of preliminary and final design concepts quantity estimates and specifications to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines using design software for signing and pavement marking construction plans sign messages and sign supports.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Grade NC16 Range $57983 - $101470 Hiring Range: $57983 - $79151

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in an applicable field of engineering from an appropriately accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Necessary Special Qualification May require registration as a professional engineer by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
