Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a senior Cloud Architect to lead the design implementation and optimization of secure scalable cloud solutions supporting a complex logistics IT environment. This role focuses on architecting cloud platforms that power warehouse management transportation systems and real-time logistics tracking while ensuring security reliability and performance at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture and implementation of secure scalable cloud solutions for logistics platforms
Design cloud-native architectures supporting warehouse management systems (WMS) transportation management systems (TMS) and real-time tracking applications
Define and enforce AWS IAM policies and roles using least-privilege principles
Architect implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices and version control tools (e.g. GitLab)
Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform CloudFormation or similar tools
Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to deliver cloud solutions aligned with business and technical goals
Provide technical leadership mentorship and architectural guidance across teams
Ensure cloud environments meet security compliance and operational requirements
Partner with stakeholders to evaluate cloud technologies and recommend best-fit solutions
Support authorization and compliance efforts including Public Trust or suitability requirements.

Required Qualifications:
12 years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on cloud architecture and infrastructure
7 years of hands-on experience designing and managing AWS IAM policies and roles
5 years of experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
5 years of experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud services
2 years of experience working in Agile Scrum environments
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
Security certification (required)

Nice to Have:
Experience working with two or more cloud providers
Background in logistics supply chain or large-scale enterprise systems
Experience designing highly available fault-tolerant cloud architectures
Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards
