About the Role
As a General Practice Veterinarian you will provide comprehensive medical care in a collaborative and well-equipped hospital that serves both small animals and exotics. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine wellness exams diagnostics and medical treatments.
- Performing general surgery and dentistry with access to advanced tools and mentorship for continued skill development.
- Utilizing cutting-edge technology including digital x-ray ultrasound CT and endoscopy.
- Collaborating with an experienced veterinary team including specialists in exotic medicine soft tissue surgery and advanced diagnostics.
- Providing compassionate client education and patient care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited university (or equivalent).
- Active Pennsylvania veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general practice (No new grads).
- Experience in companion animal wellness and preventive care medicine.
- General surgery and dentistry interest with a commitment to continuing education.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with fellow doctors staff and leadership.
