Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate dedicated and professional Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our team in San Antonio TX. we are committed to providing high-quality compassionate care to pets and their families in a collaborative team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality medical care to a variety of small animal patients including diagnosis treatment and surgery.
Perform routine wellness exams preventive care and vaccinations for pets.
Conduct diagnostics and interpret results from laboratory tests radiographs and other diagnostic tools.
Develop treatment plans for both emergency and ongoing care cases.
Communicate effectively with pet owners to explain treatment options procedures and aftercare.
Work collaboratively with support staff including technicians and receptionists to ensure exceptional patient care and service.
Participate in the practices continuous improvement efforts by contributing ideas implementing best practices and supporting a positive work environment.
Stay current with new developments in veterinary medicine and procedures through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of Texas (or the ability to obtain one).
Experience in small animal medicine preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Compassionate and professional demeanor with both clients and pets.
Ability to handle a variety of medical cases and provide high-level care under pressure.
