Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join our team. Located in the beautiful Hilton Head Island SC our clinic is dedicated to providing high-quality care for small animals in a compassionate and family-oriented environment. We are looking for a veterinarian with a passion for patient care a commitment to client education and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Veterinary Care: Provide comprehensive veterinary care for small animals including wellness exams vaccinations diagnostics treatment of illnesses and preventive care.
Surgical Proficiency: Perform routine surgeries such as spays neuters dental cleanings and more advanced surgical procedures as required.
Client Communication: Educate pet owners on the health and wellness needs of their pets provide clear explanations of treatment plans and offer guidance on preventive care.
Diagnostic Services: Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital radiography ultrasound and in-house laboratory services to diagnose and treat various conditions.
Patient Care: Provide high-quality individualized care to patients focusing on pain management recovery and overall well-being.
Team Collaboration: Work with a skilled team of veterinarians technicians and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care and client satisfaction.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patients adhering to clinic policies and regulatory standards.
Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Valid veterinary license to practice in South Carolina (or the ability to obtain one).
1-2 years of clinical experience preferred though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience in small animal surgery diagnostics and emergency care is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
Compassionate professional and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to high-quality care.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
