Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about large animal medicine enjoys working with a variety of species and thrives in a collaborative and community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality medical surgical and preventative care to equine exotic pets and family livestock.
Perform fieldwork and mobile services as needed for ranch calls and emergency cases.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and education.
Diagnose and treat medical conditions using advanced diagnostic tools and treatment protocols.
Work closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.

Qualifications:

DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Nevada (or ability to obtain licensure).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mixed animal or large animal practice preferred.
Strong surgical skills and confidence in handling a variety of species.
Ability to work independently in field settings and adapt to a dynamic caseload.
Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
