Job Description:
Role Summary:
This is a laboratory-based position within the Vaccines Early Bioprocess Analytical Development group.
The individual will perform routine sample testing analytical method development and assay qualification studies in support of early vaccine development.
Assays are primarily based on high performance liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS) but other analytical techniques will be used as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform sample preparation and testing in support of vaccine development including bioprocess and formulation development release stability characterization and adjuvant compatibility studies.
Document experiments analyze data and provide conclusions from sample testing and method development/qualification experiments using an electronic laboratory notebook.

Skills:
Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation relevant to protein biochemistry.
Ability to follow and adapt scientific protocols with attention to detail.
Strong documentation and data interpretation skills.
Effective communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
Good working knowledge of protein biochemistry.
Experience with HPLC and/or mass spectrometry plus.
