The Problems Youll Solve

  • Manage the entire loan servicing lifecycle for complex private credit instruments including bilateral club and syndicated loans such as term loans delayed draw term loans (DDTLs) revolvers unitranche and asset-based lending facilities.
  • Ensure the accurate calculation and processing of interest fees PIK accruals amortization schedules original issue discount (OID) accretion and unused/commitment fees leveraging LSTA/LMA conventions and evolving benchmark interest rates including SOFR and credit-sensitive rates.
  • Maintain operational integrity by executing and reconciling cash transactions managing lender/borrower communications and proactively resolving settlement breaks with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with fund accounting teams to support month-end close processes maintain accuracy in position tracking and assist in providing documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Support frontline investment professionals and relationship managers with timely and accurate servicing data including responses to borrower/lender inquiries and documentation requirements.
  • Lead and support a growing team of Loan Operations analysts ensuring daily execution while mentoring talent and promoting development.

The Team Youll Work With

Youll be joining our Credit Operations team a growing function dedicated to supporting Cartas private credit platform by maintaining precision and efficiency across all stages of the loan servicing lifecycle.

Our mission is to provide institutional-grade support to the investment fund accounting and fund administration teams by managing trade settlements cash flows and notification workflows across diverse and complex credit instruments. We champion operational excellence and risk management while scaling Cartas loan servicing capabilities as our private credit strategies continue to grow.

About You

Youre someone who thrives on bringing structure to complex workflows and executing with discipline in fast-paced high-stakes environments. You combine deep technical loan knowledge with a collaborative mindset and a passion for process improvement.

  • 25 years of experience recommended in private credit loan operations bank loan servicing CLO administration or through a third-party loan agent.
  • Expertise in credit agreement mechanics including loan origination and lifecycle events (fundings rollovers prepayments conversions etc.).
  • Proficiency in LSTA/LMA conventions day count standards and benchmark rate calculations (SOFR Term SOFR Daily Simple).
  • Attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy and ability to analyze complex position and cash reconciliations.
  • A team-oriented problem solver who thrives in time-sensitive high-visibility operating environments.
  • Experience with direct lending portfolios including unitranche DDTL super-senior/first-out structures and PIK toggles is highly preferred.
