Job Summary

We are hiring Signaling Engineer at Mumbai Location.

Roll Off Roll / Contractual

Experience 3 to 5 years

Key Responsibilities & Job Functions

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform regular inspection maintenance and repair of signaling gear (points track circuits signals) and telecommunication systems.
System Operation: Monitor train movements via computer systems and operate controls in an Operating Control Center (OCC) or signal box.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols such as Automatic Train Protection (ATP) to prevent signal passed at danger (SPAD) incidents.
Design & Engineering: Design test and commission new signaling interlocking and automatic train control systems.
Incident Management: Respond to service disruptions troubleshoot equipment failures and report on incidents to ensure quick restoration of service.
Communication: Coordinate with train drivers and technical staff to manage traffic flow and communicate operational changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of railway signalling principles interlocking and modern train control systems (e.g. CBTC).
Experience: Previous experience in railway engineering electronics or maintenance.
Certification/Education: Usually requires a diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication engineering or a related field.
Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills ability to work in shifts and for field roles a hands-on approach.
