Job Summary
Specialty: HVAC / Air Conditioning Operations
Place of Work (City/State): Nashville TN
Duration: 1-year base contract with 4 option years
Shift Schedule:
- Training Period (First 45 days):
- Monday Friday: 8AM 4PM
- Regular Shifts (Post-training):
- 4PM 12AM
- 12AM 8AM
- Emergency Shifts (On-call within 24 hours):
- 8AM 4PM
- 4PM 12AM
- 12AM 8AM
- Includes weekends and Federal Holidays as scheduled
- Full-time: 40 hours per week per operator
- Additional emergency coverage: up to 30 hours per operator as required
- EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant License (required)
- EPA 608 Universal
- HVAC-related safety training (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year commercial HVAC and building operations experience
- 12 years cumulative equipment knowledge across listed HVAC systems preferred
- Operation of large-scale HVAC plants
- Chillers cooling towers air handling units
- Siemens Desigo Building Automation System (1 year preferred)
- Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting
- Alarm response and system diagnostics
- Operate and maintain multi-zone air conditioning systems
- Start stop and adjust chillers and HVAC equipment
- Maintain required temperature and humidity levels for clinical areas
- Perform hourly equipment inspections and log readings
- Respond to alarms and emergent facility issues
- Support plumbing electrical medical air and vacuum systems
- Perform weekly and monthly preventive maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of fan rooms
- Complete shift hand-off briefings
- Document all activities in A/C Operations logbook
- Steel-toed shoes required
- Must be available for Federal Holidays
